Recently, a desktop twin-screw extrusion granulation experimental line from HALU was successfully shipped to Shanghai, where equipment installation and operation training were completed.

Performance Characteristics:

  • Features a compact desktop structure with a small footprint, suitable for university laboratories and corporate R&D centers;
  • Equipped with a parallel, co-directional twin-screw system and modular screw element design, allowing for flexible adjustment of shear strength and mixing effect;
  • Multi-zone independent temperature control with a temperature control accuracy of ±1℃, meeting the processing requirements of heat-sensitive materials such as PLA, PBAT, and TPU;
  • Integrated vacuum exhaust device effectively removes moisture and volatiles, improving particle cleanliness;
  • Equipped with strip drawing, water cooling, pelletizing, and winding units, achieving one-stop molding from melt to standard particles.

After equipment delivery, Hartek engineers completed mechanical installation, electrical commissioning, and basic operation training, covering start-up procedures, parameter settings, safety regulations, and key points of daily maintenance.
